When is my favourite time of year to capture a Family Session as a Professional Family Photographer

Each season has its pros and cons. Ultimately it isn't about the perfect sunset, perfect outfit or perfect location these all contribute of course but at the end of the day it's about being together, being present and just "being."

Winter - beautiful sunsets, cooler weather great for layering, earlier start times.

Summer - beautiful warm weather perfect for wearing sun dresses, later start time so easier with work commitments, great for beach sessions and when it's warmer.

Spring and Autum - are well a good mix of both.

I find family sessions are most popular September - November but we book out incredibly early for these months.

Family Portrait Photography is about togetherness. It’s about the big hugs and little kisses, the milestones and moments in between. Tahlia will gently guide you through naturally posed portraits but leave plenty of room for relaxed and playful fun.
