Motherhood is a journey. From the moment we find out we are expecting, to all the feels we have just before bubs arrival and then when we hold them and fall in love all over again. We are on a journey. The journey is filled with heartfelt highs of emotions but also at times we are surrendering to the beautiful chaos it brings too. That first year can feel like a lifetime in the thick of it. But you blink, and you’ll miss it.

Capturing all those moments on camera and filming fragments of your journey is so important because when you look back at those memories, it can give you all the feels and you get that oxytocin (the love hormone) flowing again. You have a sense of pride that you really did achieve it together. Plus, who doesn’t love a gentle reminder of those, sweet baby kicks in your belly, the tiny newborn features, the smell of their head, the first time they giggled or sat up and clapped their hands.

As a Family Photographer it is an absolute honour to capture this journey for my clients.
