Baby William | Newborn In Studio | Part One Motherhood Series
Why Most Newborn Photography Sessions Are Done While Your Baby Is Asleep
Welcoming a new baby into your family is a beautiful time for all, and being able to capture the preciousness of your bundle of joy is a sure way to secure these memories for the future. Our babies are only small for such a short time – we quickly forget just how incredible our tiny miracles are.
We love to capture the newborn baby within the first two weeks of birth, if possible. This is when your baby is most sleepy and settled. New babies love to curl up and this is how we achieve those beautiful, natural curled up photos. This is less important with in home photography session, as they do have a more lifestyle and less posed approach, but the sooner the better for capturing those little newborn details.
As babies arrive on their own schedule, the way we book in Newborn Photography Sessions , is to pencil in your due date. Then once your newborn is here we tell our clients to let us know as soon as their baby is born so we can book in a date suitable within 14 days of both if possible for you and your family.
Blogged below; is Rachel and Nicholas’s part one of their Motherhood series - Newborn In Studio, featuring the star, baby William. He was so divine and his parents were so loved up over the joy of welcoming him into their lives. It was a honour to be apart of this moment. The natural light in the studio is perfect in the mid morning. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I loved editing them. I look forward to capturing this beautiful family next week for their second part of the Motherhood Series Session with a In Home Photography Session.
